If you are looking for a way to improve your Copperplate Script, to give you more accurate widths and heights to your letters, why not try this new method I have come up with.

The technique I am using in this PDF, is the same technique I use to get more repetitive shapes in width, height, internal space and most importantly, the spacing between the letters, making my words really look beautiful and regular.

The PDF introduces a new set of grids based on a brand new ratio for the letters. We started with a new height to width ratio grid and then dividing up the grid based on how you take the 55° lines and turns at the tops and bottoms around a circle. The development lies squarely in my 4Fold Symmetry which underpins the manual ‘Copperplate Script – A Yin & Yang Approach’, which can also be purchased on this Shopify site.

This is Part 1 of the PDF, I opted to present it in two parts so as to temper your rushing the learning process. Work practised can be posted in the Facebook PAScribe Calligraphy Classes Group, in the ‘PAScribe New Grids – Copperplate Script Training Wheels Album.’ This will afford you a space to learn in with other beginners and improvers.
